Wow, that’s a lot of plants; I have a hard enough time just dealing with the morning glories, artichokes and palms in my own backyard.
That’s absolutely gorgeous, darlin’, and it’s going to be stunning when you tame it just a little. I agree with Lisa - it’s amazing how fast it goes when you get started. Keep the pictures coming - I’d love to see what it looks like when you get to work on it.
Thanks for your comments
I love the look and feel of a wild landscape like you are in the middle of the woods . . . those photos were TAME, taken six years ago . . . it is a true jungle that has been growing all this time, barely touched.
@feefifoto . . . depending on where you live . . . the ground cover that works for me is philodendron . . . as you can see from the photos, it grows on the ground and also grows up the oak trees, giving another dimension of greenery. It is like weeds . . .
As far as friends helping . . . everyone has a problem getting their own stuff done. I can do it, but I am deathly afraid of snakes . . . since my husband died, there is no one to kill them for me except for the cats that hang out in my back yard.
My biggest obstacle was the desire to get back out there . . . and I want my sanctuary back really bad, even if just a little part of it for now.
I will take before and after photos as I work on it
Breathtaking!!
